Happy New Year

H – Hold fast to the faith this new year. Many will lack self-control and fall away. (Heb. 10:22; 1 Tim. 1:9).
A – Assemble with the saints as often as they meet for worship. You may be surprised at the strength you will receive. (Heb. 10:25; 1 Cor. 14:23; 16:1,2).
P – Pray earnestly every day of the year. (Matt. 7:11; 1 Thess 5:17; Jas. 5:16; 1 Pet. 3:12).
P – Prepare yourself for great blessings from God. God has promised the faithful child that his life will be overflowing with blessings from above. (Mal. 3:9,10; Matt. 6:33).
Y – Yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin. Don’t ever forget that the devil is after you. (Mt. 26:41; 1 Thes. 5:22; Jas. 1:13-15; Matt. 4:3-11).

N – Neglect not the talents and opportunities that you will receive this year. (Mt. 25:14-30; Gal. 6:10; Jas. 4:17).
E – Examine yourself daily. (2 Cor. 13:5; 1 Cor. 11:28-30).
W – Work diligently for the Lord, for you know that your labor “is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Cor. 15:58; Titus 3:1).

Y – Yield your members unto righteousness every day. Don’t be involved in unrighteousness. (Rom. 6:11-16; Gal. 5:24).
E – Encourage all the people you can to obey the gospel, and encourage those who have obeyed the first principles to continue on as faithful children of God. (Gal. 6:1,2).
A – Aim at sinless perfection. (Heb. 6:1; 2 Pet. 3:18; 1 Cor. 10:13).
R – Redeem the time. (Eph. 5:16; Jas. 4:12-14; Prov. 27:1).
